We’re happy to be working with Qcast, as we believe it can be another one of the answers to the big question we asked at the beginning of this article “What things do we need to do to take a step forward in the Christian and Gospel music industry?” Sharing insight through great questions, and answers, on Qcast, is definitely one of the ways our industries can Step FWD. Qcast has created a simple and efficient way to host these types of conversations. We believe Qcast can revolutionise industries such as ours, as artists have thousands of questions for their fans, about their music, and fans have millions of questions for their favourite artists, about everything. The way that Qcast works is that you record video based questions, which are called Qcasts, that are hosted on the Qcast platform, where people can react and respond with answers that can be shared anywhere online. Qcast is the name of the platform, and we were proud to have the new startup record a series of exclusive Qcast Questions with a host of the guests who walked across our red carpet at last year’s awards. As an organisation we know just how powerful questions can be, and so for our inaugural Step FWD Awards show, back in November 2021, it was a great honour to have been sponsored by a dynamic new social media platform that is solely centred around the sharing of powerful questions. Eight years after the launch of A Step FWD, we are still doing all we can to answer that question. Questions help us answer and solve life’s biggest problems.Ī Step FWD was birthed out of a simple question “What things do we need to do to take a step forward in the Christian and Gospel music industry?” The UK Christian Chart was part of that question’s answer. ![]() The stream viewing is synchronous with the stream production.Here’s an important question for you What’s in a question?Ī good answer to that question could be “Everything and anything”. ![]() The user may view any of the current feeds by tapping on a selected stream name displayed by the list or, in alternative, may also view where the current streams are being shot by looking at their geographical location on the Apple map. LIVE STREAM RENDER: shows to the user the list of Live Stream Feeds being generated in that moment.The posting of the stream as it is being shot to Facebook or YouTube is possible after having logged into a valid account. LIVE STREAM FEED: lets the user produce a video-audio stream using any combination of the smartphone cameras (front, rear, front and rear) and share the stream with other members of the domain only (in Private Share production mode) or share it also with Facebook or YouTube friends (in Public Share production mode).All users belonging to the same domain can access and view the videos posted to the shared area. COMMUNITY: users can view videos posted by QCast Web server administrator to the shared area of the domain.The private area is within the domain space the user belongs to. MY CONTENTS: the user may upload videos to his/her private section of Qcast Web server.Both calling and called users must be members of the same domain. CALL USER: Call or be called by another QCast App user to establish a one-to-one video-audio call.By accepting the call activation request (in called mode) or being accepted when asking to start a call by tapping the LIVE button (in calling mode) is what is required to establish a bidirectional real-time audio-video connection with the Studio operator. Once the user joins the session he/she can call into or be called from a control station (called QCast Studio). ![]() The user must choose one of the active sessions to join it.
